Design
Usually a domed-shaped structure supported by posts which provide sheltering for walking areas. The structures can incorporate tricky angles while sides can be added for that extra layer of protection. This is a cheaper and more versatile alternative to a bricks and mortar walkway.
Operation
Walkway structures are fixed forms of shading. Some forms have retractable or removable sides which can be operated manually or via motorisation.

These structures offer both comfort and safety benefits. In hot weather, the shading protects pedestrians from the direct sunlight, while in colder conditions, it means there is a safe space for people to walk without fear of slipping or getting wet.
