Hal Cruttenden will host the BBSA Excellence Awards 2026

Hal, who has made several appearances on TV’s Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You, will be on stage at the event in March.

He’s also an accomplished writer, presenter and actor with appearances in Shackleton, Eastenders and Touching Evil.

Over the past ten years he has toured extensively across the UK and has taken shows to the Montreal, Melbourne and New Zealand comedy festivals.

Hal will host the awards – which will take place as part of the BBSA’s Annual Dinner – at the Midland Hotel, in Manchester, on March 7.

BBSA members can enter the awards until 5pm on Friday, December 5.
