External shading performs well in Architects Datafile survey

A survey of architects has found external shading is considered as highly relevant when it comes to solutions for mitigating overheating in residential and commercial buildings.

Furthermore, when respondents were asked ‘How effective are these strategies in mitigating overheating in the UK climate?’, external shading was identified as the most effective.

The study by Architects Datafile was co-sponsored by BBSA member Caribbean Blinds and references BBSA research several times.
