Dr Zoe De Grussa to return to BBSA

Dr Zoe will be re-joining the BBSA next month following two years as CIBSE’s research manager.

Zoe will be the BBSA’s head of technical and scientific affairs, managing research into the performance of solar shading. She will also be involved in delivering training for BBSA members on the performance benefits of shading.

Research conducted by Zoe during her PhD with the BBSA has recently featured in the government’s Warm Home Plan and has been cited several times by the Climate Change Committee in its reports to parliament.

BBSA president Justin Allen said: “We are delighted to be able to bring Zoe back to the BBSA to support our drive to promote the performance benefits of the industry’s products.

“Zoe is a recognised expert on the science of shading and her two years at CIBSE has exposed her to the policy and regulation landscape that will be of help to the BBSA and its members.”
