Roman Blinds

Roman blinds are a popular form of window blind.

In a Roman blind the fabric typically has rods inserted at the back of the fabric so when the blind is raised the blind retracts into panels or folds, one in front of the other. When the blind is fully lowered the fabric hangs straight. With Roman blinds it is possible to have a lining and these can be black-out.

Typically these blind styles are operated by a continuous chain to the side of the blind or by a cord which is then secured on a cleat. Using either method it is possible to stop the blind at any position. Remember to consider the child safety requirements of blinds – see more here

Roman blind can also be operated using 240V AC, 24V DC and even battery operated motors linked to switches or remote controls.
