Walkway Structures
Ideal for protecting pedestrians from the elements.
Design
A canopy structure supported by posts which provides sheltering for walking areas. The structures can incorporate tricky angles while sides can be added for that extra layer of protection. These structures are a cheaper and more versatile alternative to a bricks and mortar walkway.
Operation
Walkway structures are fixed forms of shading. Some forms have retractable or removable sides which can be operated via motorisation.
Comfort and energy saving
These structures offer both comfort and safety benefits. In hot weather the shading protects pedestrians from direct sunlight, while in colder conditions it provides a safe space for people to walk without fear of slipping or getting wet.
