Commercial Shaped Shutters
Ideal for unusually shaped openings and windows, shaped shutters provide a solution for some of the trickiest openings.
Design
Based on the shape of the window, shaped shutters are crafted to follow the lines and contours of the opening. Design choices will therefore vary based on the opening, though there is also an array of colour choices and wood stain finishes available that suit most tastes in interior design. Different louvre sizes and tilt mechanisms will also affect the appearance of the shutters. Shaped shutters can be installed either inside or outside the recess.
Operation
Crafted from a range of different materials, shaped shutters can be operated via:
- Louvre operation methods such as centre, offset and silent tilt
- Automation and remote control options available
- Hinged panels open for easy window access
- Round shapes such as portholes may be held in place with magnets and not hinged
