Design
Either with solid panels or with standard louvres, the different track systems mean that you can segment your open plan space to suit your needs. There is a wide range of finishes available for room dividing shutters too, from classic whites and contemporary shades to custom colour options.
Many BBSA members offer a variety of track shutters that are perfectly suited for use as room dividers, installed either inside or outside the recess, with a choice of guide rails that match a range of flooring types.
Operation
Usually crafted from robust materials, such as hardwood or coated MDF, room divider shutters can be operated via:
- Bi-fold or by-pass track systems – allowing easy movement of shutter panels
- Hinged or free floating panels – versatile to suit your needs, allowing free movement
- Push/pull – simply draw the panels along the track to close or open the shutters
- 180° tracks allow panels to be folded flat against the surrounding wall
- Guide rails help prevent panel movement
