Residential External Venetian Blinds
Tilting the slats reduces glare and while still allowing natural light. This also allows for views outside while maintaining internal privacy.
Some slat profiles are designed for a tighter closure so that a dim-out condition can be achieved enabling the room to be used for audiovisual presentations.
External Venetian blinds are comprised of heavy duty aluminium slats with reinforced edges. The slats have retaining pins that are located in aluminium side guides to reduce buffeting.
Operation
The blinds can be manually operated by tracing the operating rod through the building, but are more frequently operated via motorisation. The blinds should be designed into the building structure to benefit from considerable savings in installation costs.

External Venetian blinds have one of the lowest – and therefore best – shading co-efficients of any system.
External shading is more effective at reducing summer heat gains than internal shading in most circumstances. Shade sails will offer protection from harmful UV rays and allow you to reduce the amount of heat entering your outside space or your home.
