Commercial Wooden Venetian blinds
A classic choice for many settings.
Design
An ever-expanding choice of colours, patterns and finishes is available for wood Venetian blinds, including styles with no holes in the slats for enhanced light control. These blinds are made with wood slats typically in widths of 15mm, 25mm, 35mm, and 50mm.
Operation
Venetian blinds can be operated manually using cords and wands but can also be operated using low voltage 24V DC motors for just tilting of the slats or raising and lowering the actual blind. The slats can be tilted so they are anywhere from fully open to fully closed, as well as the blind being raised and lowered.
Window blind safety
The BBSA recommends using blinds which do not contain operating cords or chains, or which have concealed tensioned cords. These products are ‘safe by design’ and are widely available. For more information visit www.makeitsafe.org.uk.
Comfort and energy saving
A particularly popular choice in working environments from a privacy point of view, heat reflective coatings can be added to enhance energy efficiency.
