Design
Externally, these products are used to offer shading to for your home or your outside space. Modern fabrics allow designs that reduce heat gain and glare while maximising natural light levels. They are a popular choice for shading conservatories and glass rooms, as well as for shading outside spaces.
The number and arrangement of the sails determines both the functionality and aesthetic. Designs can be subtle, simple and modern or elaborate and sophisticated creating dappled shade and tranquil spaces.
Operation
Designed for fixed operation, the fabric can be quickly removed if cleaning is required. Features include:
- Newer fabrics can provide optimum levels of heat reflection together with high levels of light transmission.
- Self-tensioning fabrics remove the need for adjusters and can be quickly unhooked and removed for machine washing
- No moving parts
