Justin Allen becomes BBSA president

Justin Allen, the deputy chairman of S:CRAFT, has become the 73rd president of the BBSA.

He was elected at the association’s recent AGM alongside Seb Wood, of Solihull Blinds, who becomes vice-president, and honorary treasurer Mike Seary.

Justin said: “I want to carry on the good work of those before me. I want to continue to raise the profile of the BBSA, its members and the positive impact solar shading can have on health, well-being and energy costs.”

He also paid tribute to outgoing president David D’Ambrosio, of The Scottish Shutter Company.

He said: “I want to pay tribute to David D’Ambrosio for his excellent work and support over the last two years – always willing to help, always prepared to go the extra mile. It’s an ethos in his business and he has brought that to his volunteering with the BBSA.”
