Inspired by the widespread use of external shading in architecture across Europe, we founded Enviroblinds based on research from a KTP with the University of Brighton to understand the thermal performance of external blinds in the UK.

As pioneers of external shading in the UK, our mission is to deliver aesthetic, sustainable and durable solar shading that offers thermal and visual comfort. Our dynamic shading products, which include external venetians, screens, roller shutters and louvred panels improve energy efficiency by regulating solar gain to passively cool or heat buildings.

Our collaborative method of working with our clients is consistently underpinned by honesty and integrity to achieve the best outcomes. Whilst our products reduce energy consumption, we are conscious and committed to reducing our carbon footprint as a business.

External shading is part of the solution to decarbonise buildings and meet our net zero targets, yet remains uncommon in the UK. To inform our clients of the energy saving and cost benefits of shading, we also offer dynamic thermal modelling and life cycle costings.
